Abbot Hall is an exquisite gallery in the north west of England on the edge of the Lake District.  Works of art can be enjoyed in this beautiful Georgian villa, drawn both form its important collections and the changing series of exhibitions.  The gallery also has an innovative programme of educational activities, lectures and events.

Blackwell is located 1.5 miles south of Bowness and is one of Britain's finest and most important houses from the turn of the last century.  Designed by MH Baille Scott between 1898 and 1900, it is a superb example of the arts and crafts movement. Set in the English Lake District and overlooking Lake Windermere, Cumbria, the lake district, Blackwell has fine examples of decorative arts and furniture. The interiors glow with superb examples of stained glass, carved oak and iron work, and are complemented by changing exhibitions of contemporary and applied arts. With delightful garden terraces, craft shop and Tea Room - it's a perfect place to visit.

The former home of eminent Victorian, John Ruskin, is a treasure house of art and memorabilia. The house is filled with Ruskin's treasures including paintings, furniture and objects d'art. The unique and beautiful mountainside gardens are set in a 250 acre wood estate with spectacular views.

The Brewery Arts Centre is a multi-purpose arts complex presenting a year round programme of theatre, music, films, lectures and exhibitions, The Brewery has a 450 capacity music venue, three cinemas, a visual arts gallery, a drama studio, arts and crafts workshops, meeting rooms, a restaurant, Warehouse Cafe, three bars and a fantastic 260 seat theatre.
